The police intercepted three vehicles transporting suspected stolen machinery on the motorway network. This swift action led to the arrest of two offenders after a brief foot chase and the recovery of stolen items, including a small dumper truck, valued at over £70,000.

The recent operations, resulting in five arrests, the recovery of three stolen vehicles, and the retrieval of numerous pieces of plant machinery within a short timeframe, have dealt a significant blow to this Organised Crime Group, showcasing the unwavering commitment of GMP to safeguarding the community.
